Trick-R-Treating with Tinkerbell

It seems that every activity with Kate, Mike and I both just take a deep breath and hope it goes well and she doesn't have too many meltdowns. Halloween night was no different! I knew it might take her time to adjust to her costume, so about 30 minutes before leaving for Trick r Treating, I tried to put on her costume. It actually took Mike and I both to get it on her and then she had a meltdown for a while. Thank goodness by the time we left, she was happy again!! We headed to Kelly's house to join, her sons Grady & little Jackson and also, Cassie and her boys, baby Reese and Jax. Here is Kate after we put her wings on her-yet another meltdown:

Here is cute baby Reese:

After Kate got over her meltdown, she started her Halloween night off right by opening and eating a Reese peanut butter cup:

Kate was so cute carrying her candy bag!! She would also call any box of candy that she received to be "raisins!" She did a really really great job at Trick R Treating and we didn't have anymore meltdowns!! Also, she walked the whole time and was so wore out by the time we left! She wore her wings almost the whole time, but wouldn't wear her crown. Also, if you notice the white things on her wrist, that is a "miller chill" sweat band that she loves to wear ALL THE TIME!! Usually she is wearing all 3 of them at once! I wore Alex and he slept the whole time!

It was a really great night--Kelly thanks for letting us join you guys in your neighborhood! We should do it again together next year!

***Reason I am just now posting all this, is that Kate woke up Monday morning with fever. She stayed home from school today and we went to the doctor to be told that she has a cold and LOTS of drainage. Poor thing, we have watched lots of Snow White, or as she calls it "Hi Ho."
