Family fun

We headed out to CEC yesterday. Alex enjoyed walking around everywhere & riding rides with Kate. After CEC we headed to the old house. It has been up for sale for 3 weeks now & we have had one viewing. This weekend we paid someone to move the playscape from the old house to this house. It will be nice for the kiddos to be able to play on it in the shade!

Walking Alex

Well, I can for sure now say that Alex is a walker. He can walk across the playroom & seems to be doing more walking than crawling now. He also does this weird thing of walking on his knees. Many of the moms gave him funny looks for that one yesterday! Today he just used Sammy as a step tool to climb up on the couch! He is still a pretty happy guy & seems to always to be on the go (so different than Kate.). He is pretty much eating only table food & seems to eat almost everything I give him & never seems full!! For lunch the other day I think he ate more than I did! He is still dancing to music & loves to stand on the sit-in-spin (it makes music when you move it.). He still has no interest in watching TV & still loves his big sis.

Kate is doing great & taking & singing more & more every day! In this new house we have this sound system thing where you push a button on the wall & you can listen to the radio. Kate loves it & asks to play the music in every room she is in. So now she knows the words to all the songs that are played on the radio station Mike & I like to listen to. She really loves Katy Perry. She is really into the movie cars & wants to watch it every day!!! She was doing really really well with potty training, that is until we moved. Now we are taking a break from potty training & are back in diapers. We will start back to potty training soon.

Jax the gentlemen

We had our first play date at our new house this morning. It was really great. We had 10 moms & 15 kiddos here. The new playroom worked great!

Here are Jax & Kate having a "coffee" party. Jax is pouring Kate more, such a gentlemen he is!! He was so funny-he told Kate, " this coffee isn't hot enough, let's put them in the microwave.". So cute!

Here is Kate's room & my favorite part of the kiddos Jack & Jill bathroom! It is so nice to have si much room when giving them a bath!! And I love the built-ins!!

We plan to buy Kate new furniture soon & give her a queen bed to fill her new large room!

Playroom & guest room

It's hard for us to believe we have only been in the house for a week & it already feels so much like home. Here are some photos of the playroom & guest room.

Alex at 10 months

Oh, my sweet happy baby boy Alex is 10 months today. I can't believe in only 2 months he will be one!! Wow, his first year really is flying by!!

About Alex, he is really a happy baby now & can finally play by himself without me in the same room. He is still sleeping all night long, since his two top front teeth have both broke thur. He now has 4 teeth! So weird to me, since Kate only had one I think at her first birthday. He takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap, which is really nice!! I just weaned him to only 2 breastfeeding a day, once in the morning & at night. He is so great with eating!! I feel like almost anything I put in front of him he will eat!! He loves to feed himself & makes a huge mess!! He almost always will put his hands in his hair! He will eat grapes, bananas, plums, watermelon, cheese, peaches, beef, chicken, sweet potatoes, bread, yogurt & hot dogs. He seems to love to eat!!

He has been enjoying music class, he dances a lot, that is when I'm not chasing him from crawling away!!

He is so different than Kate!! Kate would let us read to her & she would sit & look at books for long periods of time & she still does this. I have been trying to read books to Alex & I'm not having much luck! He just doesn't want to sit still!!

Walking! Yes he can do it!! He still crawls pretty much everywhere, but if he is standing & it's only 2-3 steps away, he will walk. And he is fast!! We don't have any gates up downstairs so I have to either take him with me wherever I go, or put him in his highchair.

Both kiddos have adjusted well to the new house & they both LOVE the big playroom!!! Kate was so funny-i hadn't cleaned up the playroom from the day before & she said "what a mess!"

So that about sums up what Alex is up too at 10 months old (everything!!)

Happy 4th!!

New house

Gosh, its been a Long 2 1/2 days!! We are in the new house with all our stuff (minus the garage stuff, stuff under the stairs & outside toys)kids & dogs!! The kids spent the weekend with my sister & brother-in-law & my Mom. My mom was also here with us to help unpack. She is so awesome to spend her birthday helping us unpack! We still have a 3 car garage of stuff to unpack, but the main rooms are done!

A big thanks goes out to Jes, Brian & my mom for helping us SO much this weekend!! We owe you all!!
