Friends come to visit us in NH!!

We are fortunate that my one of my BFF from college and her family came to spend a few days with us!  We had a blast and all of us were sad to see them all go!!

Monday morning, the kiddos started camp and Mike, Will and I explored the outlet mall.  Katie and her family got here during a storm, poor things!

Tuesday morning we let the kiddos skip camp and we went to ride the Conway railroad.  It was ok, not nearly as scenic as I thought it would be, but kids enjoyed it.  Then we had a great dinner together.

On Wednesday the big kiddos had a field trip to watch a baseball game, so the rest of us headed to Diana's bath.  OMG, it was so beautiful and we can't wait to go back with Kate and Alex.

We went out to dinner again, and had awful service, but still a good time.

We were all so sad to see them leave Thursday morning!!!

We made it to New Hampshire!

We love the house we rented for a month in NH and the location!  We are 15 minutes from town and 10 minutes from the lake and river!

It's so beautiful here!!!

 We arrived, unpacked car, unpacked a little, and then headed into town for dinner at Michael's favorite, Friendly's and then grocery shopping.

Then next day we set out to explore our new city!

We had our friends that live here over for dinner.  

Next day we headed out to play candlepin bowling with our friends.  It was cold and raining, so good day to be inside!

First time Mike and I had ever played this type of bowling and it was super fun!  Kids loved it.  Will was sorta a pill while we were there, so we only played one game.  The rain cleared up so that afternoon we headed to the amusement park, Storyland.  They have a deal if you go after 3pm then you can go the next day with your ticket!  

So we went back the next day and brought our friends son with us.

Saturday, Mike played golf with our friends while the kids and I went to the beach in Maine.  It was overcast and kinda cold, but people were totally playing in the water!

Sunday morning was BEAUTIFUL so we headed to the top of Mount Washington.  And we saw a Mama and baby moose on our way there!!!

It was a super scary drive up to the top, but we were there on a day that was a 9 out of 10 so very worth it!!!  It was 6000 feet up and has had the highest wind recorded.  Very cool.
