We had Kate's follow up appointment and Alex's 6 month appointment yesterday. Kate is FINALLY well!! Thank goodness!! The Augmentin she was on finally worked! Alex on the other hand, still has a ear infection. Dr Owens thinks the Amoixicillin didn't get rid of it so now he is on Omnicef. I hope it works! We are going back in a few weeks for Kate's 2 1/2 year appointment and she said she would check his ears again then. Alex also might have to visit an eye doctor. He has had a blocked eye duct since he was born and it is still there! We have used the antibiotic drops on it and it will make it go away, but it always comes back. We are going to try it again for 7 days and then if it doesn't stay clear, then we will be headed to the eye doctor. We have until 8 months to get it fixed before he would have to have surgury to fix it. Dr. Owens thinks that he just needed to have his duct probed.

Alex also got to ride in the shopping cart for the first time yesterday! He seemed to like it! Also, yesterday we dropped Mike off at the airport for his big trip with his brother. He will be gone for almost 2 weeks! We miss him already!
