Halloween playdate
Like last year, we held an afternoon playdate for Halloween! We had 14 kiddos running around from age 1 to 6, 1 little baby and 9 Mammas! It was great fun!

Our little fireman & Hello Kitty
On Saturday morning, it was super cold so we stayed inside! The kiddos worked on painting some ornaments for their teachers for Christmas presents and we just hung out!
After lunch we got the kiddos dressed for the two Halloween parties we had that afternoon. I first put the superman custom on Alex but it was too big so he ended up in the fireman custom.

Kate & Jax on bikes
Today Kate & I met up with Jax & Cassie at a park to let the kids ride their bikes together! It is so nice that they are big enough to go play on their own & we can chat! After riding & playing, we had a picnic with some rain! It was a wonderful morning!
Pink Heals Parade
Mike, the kiddos and I headed down to downtown Round Rock to meet up with Laura, Noah and Chase for the Pink Heals Parade. The kids loved seeing all the pink firefighters and hearing the bag pipers play.

Dogtoberfest
On Saturday we headed out to the domain for DogToberfest to meet Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian.
The kiddos loved looking at all the differnet dogs and we all loved the weiner dog races! Here is Brian and Jes's dog racing:
Here is the final race:
Those little dogs sure are fast!
A very sad thing happened on our way home. Right before we got back on Mopac, a dog ran out in front of us and since we were in the middle lane, we didn't see it until it was too late. Somehow the dog survived with only a cut on his belly. It was really awful! The dog hide under another car and someone carried it back to the festival where there were lots of vets available. I hope it is ok!
