Bluebonnets

The Bluebonnets are just beautiful this year!! Due to all the rain we had this fall/winter, our wildflowers are the most beautiful I have seen in a while. Just driving around town they are everywhere!!!

The week started with Kate being sick and then she developed this rash on Wednesday, which lead to another trip to the doctor, only to find out that it was caused by a virus she picked up while she was sick with the ear/sinus infection. It looked really bad on Thursday but then was pretty much gone by Friday morning. She decided not to sleep much Wednesday night and then finally on Thursday night she slept all night. Like I said--it was a long week. Oh and did I mention that she also had two teeth coming in?

Mike returned Tuesday night and he was pretty tired (be sure to check out his videos on youtube). He played golf with his Mom, Aunt and cousin, Zach, on Friday. We all went out for dinner & then played card games until the early morning on Friday night. It was alot of Fun! Saturday, Mike's Mom & Aunt left Austin and Mike was recovering from the night before! After Kate's nap-we headed to take pictures in the bluebonnets and Mike got some really great pictures (be sure to check them all out on picasa)!! Sunday I had a much needed day to myself, which I spent with my sister going to the movies, making cards and having dinner. After that I headed to Hanovers to meet up with some of my Mommy friends. It was a great day!

I hope we have a better week!! We will be leaving Thursday for Mike's 10 year reunion at Duke!
