Highlights from Magic Kingdom

Up at 6:30, breakfast at 7 & at the park by 8:40.

The kids were super excited to ride the Peter Pan ride, but it was closed!! We were having bad luck, since the monorail we were on broke & we had to get off & onto another one!

Our day--
-It's a small world

-Haunted house
-Teacups x 3

-Dumbo x 2

-Goofy roller coaster x 2 (kids loved this ride)

-Pictures with Minnie, Daisy, Goofy & Donald

-Aerial Under the Sea ride

-fast pass back to Goofy roller coaster & Dumbo

-Buzz light year, Mike got super high score, Kate got like 16000, Buddy only got 200??

-monster Inc Laugh floor. We were on the screen as a Two headed monster! Super cool!
-Fast Pass to Princess. Kate got to meet Sleeping Beauty, who is her Most favorite princess!! It was a great moment--she talked to her all about her birthday cake that Aurora was on top of!! She even didn't want to see Cindella because she wanted to see Aurora!

-ate lunch on Main Street getting a spot for Parade.
-got pictures with Mary Poppins!!!

-watched Parade.

-Got pictures taken with Mickey

Kids were especially good!! Neither one had a meltdown!!! Alex didn't want to go potty, but thankfully the promise of a lollipop worked!! Kate spend her Disney birthday money on a Aurora music box.

It was a long hot wonderful day!!!!!!!

Downtown Disney Day

Alex woke us up Very Early & then we headed to the breakfast again. Alex ate 2 bowls of cereal, 2 donuts & 2 cinnamon swirl things

Then we got ready for Downtown Disney.  The kids looked so cute in their Minnie & Goofy hats!

We had a great 5 hours at Downtown Disney!  But both kiddos fell asleep on the way home, so I'm not having faith that we will make it until fireworks tomorrow night at Magic Kingdom!

We are going to lay low the rest of the day.  Kids & I watching movies & Mike watching football.

Recovery Day

We arrived at our condo in Florida at around 9:30 Friday night. Kids seriously didn't fall asleep until about 30 minutes before we arrived. They did pretty well in the car. Lots of movies watched & not too many "are we there yet."

I woke up Saturday to the kids awake at about 7. We let Mike sleep in a little. He did drive 16 hrs the day before!

When Mike got up we headed to the free breakfast the condo offers. the kids loves this! they both ate a ton! then we headed to the store for food & then just hung out most of the day.

We did drive around Orlando & Kissimmee. The kids noticed ducks in the pond behind our condo & then when we went outside--they came right up to us! We fed them bread 2 different times. Here is Buddy roaring at the ducks! & that's about it for our recovery day.

At 4:30 this morning we headed out to start our Disney trip.

Alex was so excited to go that Wednesday night we couldn't find Ellie or his blue blanket. Thursday morning we were all looking everywhere for her, and where did we find her? Alex had put her in the suitcase I had in the living room for kitchen stuff!! He said he wanted to make sure Ellie came on our trip!!

It's 7:30 & he are already on the other side of Houston making good time. Kate has only asked "are we there yet" 2 times!!

Kate started with fever Wednesday night & had very low grade fever yesterday & was complaining of her throat hurting. Last night she said at dinner she was all better, but she still had fever. She seems fine this morning so far!

Wish us luck! We hope to make it to Orlando by 10pm their time.
