For meet the teacher night at the kiddos school, Kate wanted to get all pretty just like me!  We painted her nails and I straighten her hair.  I even put some "pretty" (what she calls makeup) on her face.

End of summer Frozen Yogurt Treat!

The summer is coming to a end so the kiddos and I headed to a frozen yogurt place where you pick your own "ice cream" and then your toppings.  They even had a no sugar added option for me!

Metro Train Ride

The kids and I rode the Austin Metro train this morning!  They love riding the train to go "downtown!"  It wasn't crowded at all and we even had a nice picnic right by the downtown station.

Slip N Slide Saturday

We had Aberlee for the morning and before soccer games start up again, we thought we would have a lazy Slip N Slide Saturday!

PawPaw was in town last week, so we all went out to dinner and then back to Aunt Kristin's and Uncle Blake's to hang out!

Austin Zoo August 2013

Cassie and I took the kiddos to the zoo last week.  Here they all are in the van!

It was hot, but this zoo has alot of shade, so that helped!

Potty training Alex

I had been dreading potty training Alex, especially after how difficult Kate was. But to our surprise he has done great!! He even went #2 on the potty on Thursday, August 15!! He still has accidents on occasion, but is in big boy underwear all the time except, nap & night time. We are so proud of our Buddy!
