Will at 22 months

Our little big guy is now 22 months old!!!  Can't believe in 2 months he will be 2!!

He loves to run everywhere and LOVES to play outside.  Alex is learning to ride his bike without training wheels and every time Alex crashes, Will will crash his toy lawn motor!  So funny to watch.  He will mimic whatever big kid he is around.  Especially Alex and Beckham.

He still loves to make sounds more than words, so I thought I would try to list them all:

He has his own words for:

all done
cars
Alex
mama
dada
pawpaw
tacos
tiger
sound of a monkey
sound of a snake
roars
uh oh
mmmm for good food (mostly eggs and ice cream)
no
rooster sound
I love you

He is still a super laid back kid and spoiled by us all.  He loves going to play at the rec center nursery and CARS!!  I hear his word for CARS ALL DAY LONG!!

Aberlee dressing up Will

Easter 2017

Again this year we headed to Alice, TX America for Easter.  Kids were super excited!

Friday we headed to the Texas State Aquarium, had lunch and then took Will to the beach for about 5 minutes.  Then we went out to dinner and ice cream.

watching the dolphin show

sharks!

Alex touched sting rays, jelly fish and star fish.  He loved it!!
Will's first time at the beach!!

Will falling asleep on the way home

When we got back from Corpus, Alex couldn't wait to go fishing!!  He caught 4 catfish and loved every minute of it!!!  I hooked a really big catfish, so big that it brought the crane pole right in half!!  Then a while later, someone said-"is that a snake across the pond?"  But it wasn't a snake, it was my cork!!!  Brian headed out with his casting rod and the net to try to catch this big fish!!  AND he did!!!  It was about 5 lbs!!  Crazy big!  After fishing, we went out to dinner and had ice cream,  Such a great day!!

Saturday we started our day playing outside and then fishing of course!  We were so lucky with really beautiful weather!!

We caught so MANY catfish!!!  and a few more big ones!!
Then we took the kids to feed the chickens and ducks and collect eggs.

Their black duck and Walter, their rooster

Then of course, we had to dye Easter eggs and fly kites.

Then Easter morning, I didn't feel well, so not many pictures of Easter morning.  But the kids loved doing Confetti eggs with the family!

Then we headed home and had an Easter Egg hunt after dinner.

Great Easter weekend!!!

Girl Scout Camp Champions 2017

Kate and I and her Troop 578 headed to Camp Champions this past weekend.  We had 9 Moms and 12 girls come from our troop.  It was so fun to have a bigger group this year and we finally had wonderful weather!!!!

Kate and I carpooled with 2 other Moms and their girls and went as a group with 4 other Moms.  We stopped at Blue bonnet Cafe for dinner before checking into camp.

Once we got settled into camp, we headed out to decorate our table!

Now that the girls are Brownies, they got to try out archery and kayaking!  First we had games, then rockclimbing and then kayaking.

As Robin, their troop leader says, they do really all love each other

hugging their troop leader!

Here they are playing games.  The girls loved the guy doing games and even asked him to sit with them at dinner!!
they taught him this game

Then rockclimbing.

Kayaking.  It was super windy, so the girls kept getting pushed into the shore.  Kate was so determined to do it--she said--I will not give up!!  I was so proud of her!!  She loved it!

Then we had lunch and headed to archery.

We got free hats at lunch and girls loved them!!

Then we went on our nature walk.  There is this old house that we have taken pictures of the girls in front of every year.

Then we went fishing, unfortunately no one caught a fish and then to the pool.  All the girls were so excited to go swimming!!

After pool, reptiles.  The girls got to hold a snake!!!

Then dinner, group photo, SWAPS and then skits!

And the survivors of Camp Champions 2017 (with the free hats on)

It was a wonderful weekend!!  I already can't wait to go back!!
