We were lucky to arrive at the river, just as Julie, James and Emily arrived! The kids were so excited to see them! We unpacked and then hit the river. I was worried that Alex wouldn't get in, but he did great! The weather was great and we had the river to ourselves, so we stayed on the river until the kids were asking for dinner. While I was cooking dinner, Mike took the kids outside to play with chalk. Unfortunately, even though it was early, Alex got attached by mosquitoes on his face!! My poor baby boy!
Friday we headed to the German bakery for some yummy baked goods! We saw Julie, James and Emily there.

It was still early and a little cool for the river, so we played at the playgroud at the Other Place and then headed to Landa Park.

Saturday morning we spent on the river after waking to the bakery again. Unfortunately, Julie, James and Emily had to go back home, but as they were leaving, Meme, Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian got to the Other Place! Meme and I took the kids to the kiddie pool after lunch.
After the pops, we headed to the river!!
We had a big fish fry for dinner!!

Sunday morning, the kiddos woke up in bad moods and the weather was yucky. They were up late Saturday night, and we paid for it on Sunday! Before we headed home, Uncle Brian took Kate on a ride. Alex was too scared to go.
It was another great weekend on the comal river! I already can't wait for next year!
