Finally a pretty day!!

We have been having such yucky weather lately and today we FINALLY had a nice day! So Kate and I (Mike is in Vegas) headed to the park.
And then we had an early yummy fish fry dinner with Jessica and Brian and then took some pictures in the bluebonnets. I think I will try again another day, she was tired.

Crazy hair Kate

Kate's hair just keeps growing and growing!! It seems to be more curly now!

Hail Storm

We had this crazy hail storm on Wednesday night! We had golf size hail! It covered the backyard, it actually looked like it had snowed! Check out the video we took on youTube!

Kate's 6 month check up!

Height: 24 1/2 inches
Weight: 15 lbs

Dr. Owens said that she has great muscle tone,a very strong core and would be an athlete for sure! Mike and I think it's a little early to say she will be an athlete, but she sure did seems impressed with Kate. She also commented on how good natured Kate was. I was worried about Kate's ears (since she grabs at them or her hair all the time) but she said that they looked great!

Kate at 6 mths in Alice, Texas, America!

Kate and I made a trip to Alice, Texas, America during my Mom's spring break. We had a great time with MeMe and Papa Jamey! Kate enjoyed seeing the puppies and sitting on the back porch. Kate even had her first solid foods while we were in Alice!Click here for the rest of the photos from our trip

Kate on her way to 6 mths!

Kate is having a fun March so far! While we were in Houston, I found that she likes to swing! So I found that a park in our neighborhood has one of these swings and she LOVES it!! Mike and I took her there together last Saturday and we have a video of her swinging--check it out on youtube. She is still a super happy baby and still sleeping all though the night. She has started to sit up by herself very well! We have been busy with play dates and taking our daily walk at the indoor track at the rec center. She loves going to music class and story time at the library. She is really growing fast! I can't believe she is almost 6 mths!!Click here for the rest of the March photos

Mike's Dad visit, Mike's b-day & trip to Houston

Mike's Dad came for a visit for a few days! It was nice to see him and he loved holding our little Kate!
He even watched her for us so we could see a movie and have a poker night with friends!

On Mike's birthday we had lunch with his Dad and then sadly we took him to the airport. I planned a surprise night out with Mike for his birthday! Thank you so much to Jes and Brian for watching Kate overnight!

Kate and I finally made it to Houston! 3rd time is a charm! Kate is still a pretty good traveler in the car, she slept most of the way there and back. She got to meet my friends from college: Katie, Amanda, Merch, and Abbie. She also got to meet Merchie's little boy, Noah, and Amanda's little girl, Mia.
