Trip to Florida 2016

We decided to go to Universal Studios this year since Mike has read Harry Potter to the kids.  So we did 2 days at Universal Studios, 2 days at Islands of Adventure and then a day at Sea World.  Since we have a baby with us this year, we took 2 days to get there.  The kiddos did great and Will did pretty great too!

Monday we headed to Universal Studios and I got these super cute minion shirts off of Etsy.  Good thing I did because we were able to get in early!!

It was a really great day and we took full use of the child swap.  Disney could learn from Universal because their child swap rooms were amazing!!!  It was so nice that we could take Will with us while we waited in line (which was like 5 minutes) and then the kids could ride the ride with Mike and then with me!!  We rode the Minion ride a few times, then Spiderman.  I loved the Spiderman ride!  Kate and Mike rode the Mummy ride, which Kate came out crying about.  It scared her.  Then we rode the Harry Potter ride, which the line is super cool before the ride!  We rode Men in Black and Transformers.  We actually had to wait in line to ride the Simpson ride, which was about the only ride we waited for I think.  It was perfect weather and the kids did great.

Day 2 Sea World

We watched all the shows first and then rode some of the rides.  They had the biggest outdoor playscrape we had ever seen and the kids spent some time there.  Kids LOVED their kiddo kid area because they could ride the rides all by themselves and since it wasn't crowded, they could ride them over and over again!!

Day 3 Islands of Adventure

It was a wet day, but we still had a great day.  We rode some rides, then it really started to rain, so we hung out at the Dinosaur Discovery Center for a while.  Kate even got to name a dinosaur!  It stopped raining and we enjoyed the Harry Potter part and then it starting pouring again!  But after lunch it cleared up!  Alex wasn't tall enough for the Harry Potter ride, but due to the awesome child swap he could walk through the line, which is amazing!!  It's a great ride, but rough on your tummy!  At the end of the day, we rode the two water rides and got so wet!!  Then Alex got to meet some superheros!

Day 4 Universal with Gram and PawPaw and Mike's birthday!!!
Another great day!  Was a little more crowded this day and colder.  We were so happy to have Gram and PawPaw with us!!  Mike and I got to ride the roller coasters together!

She decided to ride the Mummy ride again and loved it!  and rode it 2 more times

 After the park, we went out the dinner for Mike's birthday,

Day 5, last day.  Islands of Adventure with Gram and PawPaw
Super cold in the morning, but then warmed up and was a beautiful day!  We had another great day!  I still need to get pictures from PawPaw.
