Fourth of July in October

We had a warm day last week and Kate insisted on wearing her 4th of July dress.  She just loves this dress!!

Single Mom week

Mike was in Europe again for the week, so it was just me and the kiddos.  I started the week with a much needed New haircut and highlighting!!

On Thursday, Alex and I were at Old Navy and he insisted he wanted his pictures taken with this family (that had lots of Mommas)

Then Friday, Kate got to see her favorite Newberry, baby kitty Shadow

Saturday we started out with a 8:00 soccer game that Kate got did great in!  We only had 4 players so she got alot of playing time and actually kicked ball a few times! After the game we hurried home to put customs on for some free photos the kiddos were going to get taken.  They looked so cute as Izzy and Jake (sorry no pictures of this!)  Then we headed over to the Touch a Truck event.

We stopped for lunch with Gram, Aunt Kristin and Aberlee and then we headed over to our neighborhood fall event.  The kiddos enjoyed 2 bounce houses, petting zoo, popcorn and face painting.  Kate fell in love with a little piggy that slept in her lap for about 30 minutes!

It was a long day and unfortunately Alex had an upset tummy and bright green diarrhea (green from cupcakes the day before) all day. Then that night Kate started feeling bad in her tummy and threw up.  Mike came home and we had a lazy day on Sunday.
