On Saturday night, Alex had a little fever, but it was gone by Sunday morning. He started with a runny nose again and then started coughing on Monday, along with Kate. Tuesday night Kate had fever and then stayed home from school on Wednesday. She started wheezing Wednesday afternoon, so we all headed to the Dr. He said they both just had colds, but that Kate needed breathing txs due to the wheezing. She always gets sick so quick and wheezes! We did txs every 4 hours Wednesday night/Thursday morning and she was much better! She went back to school Friday!
We had a special visitor (Aunt K) on Wednesday night/Thursday afternoon and the kiddos very much enjoyed this special visitor! We all hope she is back soon!

Tuesday day with Kate
Tuesday Kate and I had plans to go to the park again, but it started to rain so we decided to get her a hair cut!
She was really good during her hair cut, so we decided to have an ice cream date! She wanted pink ice cream with sprinkles!

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm Fall Fest
On Saturday we headed out for our yearly tradition of going to the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm to get pictures of the kiddos on pumpkins and ride a hayride! Kate was a mess on the way there and I was afraid it was going to be a waste of time, but she ended up being OK once we got there! YES!

Morning with Kate
As you may know, the kiddos go to preschool opposite days so I have only one kiddo each morning. Both Kate and Alex seem to really enjoy it and I think it has really helped with Kate's behavior. They both get excited to go to school or to just "hang out with Mommy."
On Tuesday Kate and I headed over to a great park in Round Rock for her to ride her new bike. It was funny that she left her bike helmet on while she was playing on the playground!
Tuesday afternoon, Laura and her boys, Chase and Noah came over to play. It was cute to see Alex and Chase playing together!

the weekend
Thursday I finally woke up feeling some what like myself again! Finally! I think that I had Alex's stomach virus on Tues/Wed so that's why I felt so bad. Thursday was a long day on my own with Kate while Alex was in school. But Kate had perfect behavior! I even took both kiddos to Kate's dance class, but boy was I tired that night!! Friday was good, except for the horrible dinner out we had. We went to a new Mexican food place in Pville and Alex was in love with the hot sauce and when Mike took it away, all hell broke lose! But we were able to finish dinner and then Mike took Kate to a high school football game. She loved the halftime show and eating popcorn, she wasn't so interested in the football!
Saturday night a cold front came in and it was chilly! We took a family walk with Kate on her new bike! Then we had lunch and headed over to our neighborhood fall fest. We rode the train, ate lots of candy and Kate got her face painted!
That afternoon we finally did some work in Alex's room. It has been pretty empty since we took his crib out. My parents gave him a Dinosaur shelves and we moved the toy box from the play room into his room.
After this, Mike and I had a date night!
On Sunday we took the kiddos to spend the money they got for their bdays. Kate got a My little pony set and Alex got a great big alligator.
And that was our weekend!
