Aunt Jes & Alex
My sis, Jes, came to take me some much needed retail therapy! When we got back, here she is with Alex.

We all went to Hippin' Hippo together! We all had a blast!
Mike's parents were in Texas to attend a wedding in Houston, so lucky for us we got to spend some time with them!! Mike and I were able to have some dinners out (kid free) and I even got to see him play in his weekly softball game!! Kate and Alex both enjoyed having their grandparents here. Kate watched her first Shirley Temple movie with Paw Paw and Gram gave her more stuff for her dollhouse and Disney pieces for her Mr. Potato Head. Mike & his parents went golfing and went out to dinner. Mike had his 33rd birthday
while they were here, so Mike and I went out to see the movie Hall Pass. Mike spent most of his 33rd bday on the golf course (he played 36 holes!)

Da da
Alex is now saying "DaDa". So cute! He is for sure now mobile-he rolls all over the floor & his crib! Unfortuntly he is going to be crawling very soon!! He can already pick up the lower half of his body & kick his feet!! Yikes! He is still eating a ton!! On Wednesday he eat 3 pkgs of stage 1 baby food!! I mixed cereal with his baby food & he eat only 2, so that's better. He is still sleeping well at night, and pretty much up all day it feels like.
As for Kate, Mike & I thought she was better. Her cough was almost completely gone. She would still cough a little in the mornings & when she was really active. Even the teacher at school noticed that she didn't cough at allbon Thursday at school. So we had a follow up appointment for her Thursday. Dr Owens listening to us & was happy that she was better. Then she examed Kate & found her ears to be infected & still lots of green stuff in her nose. So sadly she will be put on antibiotics once again & we go back to see Dr Owens in 2 weeks!! Hopefully this round will wipe it out finally!!! Her behavior has seemed to improve now, so as Mike says, there could be an even nicer Kate in there. So keep your fingers crossed that these meds work!!!
A few days ago, Kate was trying to find Alex & when she found him, she says "hey buddy". I was like "huh?" I didn't realize it but Mike & I both call Alex our little buddy, so much that Kate picked up on it I guess!! So looks like Alex has a nick name!
Also, Alex loves for us to playpeekk-a-Bo. So Kate will cover her eyes, say "where's Kate?" and then say her version of peek a boo. Very cute!
