Kate FINALLY ate ice cream!!

Mike and I found the key to getting Kate to eat ice cream on Friday night--we didn't give her dinner--so she was hungry and well, she ate the ice cream!!!

Chuck E. Cheese, again

We made another trip to Chuck E Cheese, this time Kate feel in love with Chucky & riding the pony.

Mike came with us to gymnastics class on Wednesday so I was able to get a few pictures and a video of Kate. She loves, loves, loves the trampoline now. At first she wasn't a big fan, but now, she has a melt down when she has to wait her turn to jump! It took her a while to warm up to gymnastics, but now that's it's almost over, she almost participates in all the activities!! Be sure to check out the video of her on the trampoline! We are still doing music class, and it's super fun watching her become more and more involved in there also.




Moving Kate into the big girl bed was a HUGE success!!! She has done soooo wonderful! Tonight will be a whole week that she has slept in the twin bed for all naps and night time!! She is such a big girl now!!

She is still talking up a storm!! I have no idea how many words she knows now, but a few of her favorites words are: Butterfly, glasses, dance, eat, I did it!, Icee, ABCDF, ball and Wow.

I am now 32 weeks along. I can't believe we will be a family of 4 in a matter of weeks!! Yikes!

Chuck E. Cheese

Mike and I took Kate to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time last week. She seemed to enjoy it, her favorite was the carousel.




On Saturday, Mike and I took Kate to the new splash park here in Pflugerville. Kate wanted nothing to do with this place the first time we went there and now after many trips, she loves it! Actually, I'm not sure who had more fun, her or Mike!




Kate is just talking up a storm!! It just amazes me that in less than 2 months she has learned so many words!! And has even started to see something, point at it, and call it by name. We have also been working with her on saying her ABC's and numbers. She makes me laugh that when she can't say something (like "thank you" or the letter W) she will make up her own word for it and then say that instead! And will use that same made-up word every time!! So funny!

Mike and I are going to attempt to put Kate in her Big Girl Bed tonight. Wish us luck with that!!!

28 weeks with Kate


28 almost 29 weeks with "baby B"


I am soo much bigger this time around!! I can hardly believe it! This baby is so different than Kate. Kate kicked alot and I felt her ALL the time. This baby is so Lazy!! I have to really pay attention if I have felt the baby once a day! BUT it seems that now that I am 30 weeks the baby does seem a little more active.

Kate's early 2nd Birthday present!

Trip to Houston

Kate and I took a trip to Houston this past weekend. Mike came home from Sweden on Thursday night and we headed out of town Friday morning. We were lucky enough to have my Mom meet us there and to stay with my Aunt Connie and Uncle Johnny. On Friday afternoon, Kate and I visited with my friend Merchie, who at the time was almost 36 weeks pregnant with twins!


Merchie had her twins Monday night and everyone is doing great!!

On Saturday I attended my dear friend from college, Katie's baby shower. It was great to see her and her family and my other friends from college Becca and Abbie. Katie is 27 weeks along in the photo and I am 29 weeks. I am ALOT bigger then she is! Thank you to my Mom for keeping Kate so I could have a great day with my friends!!


On Sunday, we went to my friend Amanda's little girl's 3 yr old b-day party. Here are some pictures of Kate and Amanda's little girl, Mia playing in the pool together!


On Monday, my Mom and I took Kate to the Houston Zoo. It started pouring as soon as we got there and rained off and on the whole time we were there! Even with the rain--it was still really hot!!

Stephanie & Frank's Wedding!!

Saturday my dear friend Stephanie and Frank got married!! I had the pleasure of being there, unfortunately without Mike since he was still in Sweden. He comes home on Thursday. It was a beautiful HOT night for a wedding!! Here are some photos in which I am almost 28 weeks pregnant:





Thank you soo much to Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian for watching Kate for me for over 24 hours this weekend!!!!
Kate is still talking up a storm--not always with her new words, but still talking. She is learning new words all the time. She FINALLY said "WooWoo" which is what we call her most favorite stuffed dog this weekend. We finished our 2 weeks of swimming lessons on Friday. We started a gymnastics class on Wednesday. She had a few meltdowns during class, but seemed to like it. She wasn't much of a fan of having to wait for her turn on well, anything!! We are still doing Music class this summer and she still LOVES that!! Mike and I have been working with her on some flash cards & she seems to enjoy it! She knows where we keep them and will ask us to do them with her!! She also seems to "read" books to herself! She will open the book-then say a few "Kate" words, flip the page, say more of her words, flip another page and so on! It's really cute! She is 21 months now, which I just can't believe!!

Sweden

Mike will be leaving for Sweden on Thursday (for work)so I will be playing the role of a single Mom for a week! Pray for me that I make it!!

Waco Zoo

We took a trip to the Waco Zoo on Saturday & had a great time!! This zoo was super clean with lots of shade & places to sit (or should I say places for me to rest!!) We all had a great time seeing all the animals!
