Maine/New Hampshire trip 2016

As Mike and I continue our quest to visit every state, Maine was next on our list.  We leftthe kiddos with Gram and PawPaw right after Alex's Kinder Camp

We flew directly to Boston and then drove to Portland, Maine.  We stopped at a Friendlys for food and watched the Olympics on Mike's phone.

We drove around Portland looking at the lighthouses.

And when you are in Maine--you have to have Lobsters!!

Then we drove to Portsmouth to go out with some of Mike's friends from Duke.  We partied from 4pm until 1am!!

Then the next morning we headed to Bar Harbor to explore Acadia National Park.

Beach--water was 45 degrees!!

We drove the Acadia one way road and saw all the sights.  Then we went to play putt putt golf!

Then next day we went to see one more lighthouse:

Then we drove to North Conway, New Hampshire to see Mike's friend from Duke, Angle and her family.  Such a beautiful town with lots to do!

And our trip won't be complete without visiting at least one Presidents grave!

It was a busy trip (lots of time driving in the car) but a great one!  We are considering going back with the kids next summer!

Jill's 38th birthday weekend

I started off with a painting night that was super fun!

Then Saturday night had a date night with Mike, Kristin and Blake.

Then on my birthday, Sunday had Round Rock Donuts for breakfast.

Then went to see Bad Moms!

Mintos and Diet Coke

Will at 14 months

Yesterday our little, well,  big guy was 14 months.  He is growing up so fast!  I wanted to write down a little about how he is now.

He still isn't talking--he really is like Kate!!  He is signing, which helps.  He can sign eat and all done.  He will sign eat for drinking, too.  He pretty much screams when he sees you eating something he wants and when he sees his milk come out of the fridge--watch out! He loves his milk!

He is still sleeping all night long and taking longer naps.

He is wearing a few 12-18 mth outfits, mostly 18 mth stuff and a few 18-24 mth stuff.  He is sleeping in 18 mth PJs.  I was looking at stats of the other kids and he is only one 1/2 inch shorter than Kate was at 2!!!  He's such a big boy!  He will be wearing 24 mth/2T clothes so fast!  Oh, and he's wearing size 4 diapers.

He will wave goodbye and blow kisses at night before bed.  He still loves peek-a-boo, dancing, clapping and his new thing to find is his belly button!

He loves dogs!  We were walking around downtown Round Rock (so Kate could play pokeman) and he loved seeing and petting the dogs we saw!

He just got his 3rd tooth!!  And I think the 4th is on it's way!

sleeping!!

he loves Trudy and Maui

He LOVES CEC

He also loves Jumpoline
