Day 18

Back to the beach this morning!!

We saw a person paddle boarding with a doggie!  I tried to get a picture, but they were too far out.

We left the beach for lunch.  Then hung out, school work & then to the pool for Mai Tia Wednesday!!  The condo has a party with free Mai Tias!  Kate even had a hulu dancing lesson.

After the party, we left the pool for dinner.  Kids & I found Ghostbusters on TV!  Score!  Family movie night!!

Another day in Paradise!

Day 17

We decided to have a no sun day today.  Mike had a demo business call this morning & then watched the world up soccer game.  The kids & I watched TV & just hung out.  He headed to the baby pool in the late afternoon.  Alex was so proud of himself for swimming underwater!!  I still can't believe he is doing that!  Go Alex!

Day 16

Another day in Paradise!!  Beach in the morning, with really big waves!!  Mike had fun with the boogie board!  Someone had dug a big hole in the sand & the kids played in this hole until the tide came up & it filled with water.  They really are enjoying the sand.  Kate did ride the boogie board 2 times at least.  She's still afraid of the big waves.

We left the beach for lunch & hung out until late afternoon & headed to the pool. Amazingly, Alex decided to put his head under the water for the first time!!  We were all so proud of him!!

Day 15

Mike & I seem to get woken by the kids at about 5:30ish every morning.  Fun, fun!  Most mornings I go for a walk & then we all eat breakfast.  Then we head out for our short walk to the beach. I took pictures during our walk today.

I didn't realize it, but I hit something on my camera & changed the settings on my iphone!

I have to mention that leaving the beach is not fun EVERY time for poor Buddy.  He Hates having to shower off the sand at the park & at home.  He pretty much cries the whole time he gets a shower at the park & Screams when I give him a shower at the condo.  Today he cried the whole walk back to the condo!  So fun!!

During lunch I was channel surfing & found the movie Goonies had just started!!  Family movie time!!!

Day 14

Beach & Pool yet again!!  Kids are getting way tan!

Day 13 Fourth of July!

After the beach being so crowded on Thursday we decided to just stay at the pool on the 4th.

Then we grilled that night!  Kate was so excited to wear her beloved 4th of July dress.  

I think this is her 3rd Fouth of July to wear this dress!!  Crazy!

Alex fell asleep at 6:30 & Kate soon after that, so no staying up for fireworks.  Mike & I sat on our Lanai & we heard fireworks, but didn't really see any, but did watch the sun set together.  We decided the next time that Alex or both kiddos naped we would all go down to the beach to watch the sun set.

Day 12

It was crowded at the beach this morning!!  A first!  Must be the holiday crowd!

We left the beach early & headed to the pool.

Mike & I got in too & we all played together!  Love our family time!!

Then in the late afternoon we headed back to the pool.

Baby pool is in shade in the late afternoon, which is so nice!

It's so pretty!  It's so nice to walk through going to the pool or beach.

Day 11

I woke up early to walk again, then we left at 7 to catch the bus for Mike's surf lesson!  The kids were excited to ride the bus and couldn't wait!  We thought the kids would have a beach to play on at the park where Mike was taking lessons, but it was all rocky instead.  So the kids & I just watched Mike try to surf for 2 hours.  He did a great job & the kids only asked me like a million times "Mommy, where's Daddy?"

We rode the bus back for lunch.  I think this vacation has caught up the kids.  Alex naped yesterday & now today they are both taking a nap!!

Day 9

Kids slept until 7:15!! Here they are sleeping.  Kate so has my crazy hair!  But don't they look sweet!

We all had breakfast & headed to the beach for the morning.

Both kids got on the board & rode a wave or two, but once Alex flipped off & got his face wet, they weren't interested anymore.  

We headed in for showers & lunch.  Then school work, rest, TV & then to the pool.  Kate is so funny in the baby pool talking to anyone that gets in the pool.  She asked a little girl to play with her & the little girl said "but I don't even know you."   She really does never meet a stranger.  After the pool, home for dinner followed by Go Fish & bed.

Day 10

I got up this morning to take a walk, with such beautiful views!

After I got back we headed to the beach early, to be back for USA soccer game!

We had the beach all to ourselves for a while, guess that's what happens at 7:30 on the beach!  We did have some visitors--crabs!

So cute!  They were all over the beach this morning!

We returned for the game, had lunch, school work & then just laid around rest of the day.  Buddy kept saying how tried he was & he finally fell asleep.

He was sleeping hard!!  Poor Buddy!
