Lake Forest HOA Christmas Party

Saturday night our neighborhood had their annual Christmas party.  We took a hayride through the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music, the kiddos decorated cookies and Kate sat on Santa's lap.  Alex refused to get close to Santa!!  He reacted the same way last year!  It was a great night!

She still has her Dora hat on from the birthday party!

Friday night the kiddos headed over to their Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian's to spend the night.  They were super excited and couldn't wait!  Especially since they were going to get to open their Christmas presents early!

Here they are at Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian's:

they just had to take their dress up clothes!!
My Mom's group Christmas party was a big success!!  We had lots of good food and drinks!  We had a total of 15 ladies attend!

On Thursday and Friday morning I had a play date where the kiddos could make hand print Christmas ornaments.  Everyone was able to make some really cute ornaments and Alex helped me make some dressed as batman!

Our little Spiderman private
Aunt Kristin is in town and we will not see her again before Christmas, so we had a "Kristin Christmas" yesterday!  Kate loved her magnetic dress up dolls and ribbon wand Kristin made.  Kristin has been busy making things for Alex and Mike from pinterest!  She made Alex a bunch of superhero masks, which he loves and has been wearing every since he open them!  She also gave him a private hat that he LOVES!!  She also made Alex a thing to wear to carry all his hot wheels cars.  She made Mike and shirt with a Round Rock Parkway on the back of it!  So cute!

Cat's Hollow Holiday event

After leaving the parade downtown, we headed out to lunch and then to another holiday event!  We lasted about an hour and then it was nap time!

Chuy's Parade

After seeing the kiddos enjoy seeing the inflatables at the Macy's Day Parade so much, when I saw pictures for the Chuy's Parade, I knew we just had to go!!  So Saturday morning we headed downtown and meet up with another family to watch!  The kids (and me!) really enjoyed seeing the parade.  Kate even was excited to donate toys that she and Alex picked out to donate to the Blue Santa.
Everyone's favorite--Abby!!
