My 32nd Birthday

Saturday was my 32nd Birthday. Mike & Kate woke me by signing Happy Birthday and breakfast & presents in bed. Jes took me to get a pedi in the morning (Thanks Jes!!) That afternoon we headed downtown to the Children's museum for Jax's 2nd birthday!


After the party, Mike and I headed out on our date. Gram was nice enough to babysit so we could go out (THANKS GRAM!!) We had dinner at Olive Garden, stopped for ice cream and then saw John Heffron, who won the second season of Last Comic Standing, at the Capitol City Comedy Club. He was really great, we both laughed a ton!! Here is a new family picture:

34 weeks and extreme fun!

On Thursday I had my 34 week appointment and everything seems to be going great! Kate got lots of attention because she wore this crown on her head while we were there! I can't believe we will be having a new baby in only 6 weeks!! Where has the time gone? Anyway, on Thursday afternoon we headed to extreme fun. I think Kate wore Mike out!! Kate was not afraid of anything and wanted to TRY everything!!

Kate's last gymnastics class

Gram has been in town with us the last week, so we all went to Kate's last gymnastics class.




Kate really did end up loving gymnastics, we are going to sign her up for classes again in Sept. Mike will be taking her while I am with the new baby! We also had our last music class for a while on Wednesday. I am sad to say that our favorite music teacher is taking a break and will hopefully be back in the spring!! Kate has loved music class and I know she will miss it!!

Kate FINALLY ate ice cream!!

Mike and I found the key to getting Kate to eat ice cream on Friday night--we didn't give her dinner--so she was hungry and well, she ate the ice cream!!!

Chuck E. Cheese, again

We made another trip to Chuck E Cheese, this time Kate feel in love with Chucky & riding the pony.

Kate's new love

Mike came with us to gymnastics class on Wednesday so I was able to get a few pictures and a video of Kate. She loves, loves, loves the trampoline now. At first she wasn't a big fan, but now, she has a melt down when she has to wait her turn to jump! It took her a while to warm up to gymnastics, but now that's it's almost over, she almost participates in all the activities!! Be sure to check out the video of her on the trampoline! We are still doing music class, and it's super fun watching her become more and more involved in there also.




Moving Kate into the big girl bed was a HUGE success!!! She has done soooo wonderful! Tonight will be a whole week that she has slept in the twin bed for all naps and night time!! She is such a big girl now!!

She is still talking up a storm!! I have no idea how many words she knows now, but a few of her favorites words are: Butterfly, glasses, dance, eat, I did it!, Icee, ABCDF, ball and Wow.

I am now 32 weeks along. I can't believe we will be a family of 4 in a matter of weeks!! Yikes!

Chuck E. Cheese

Mike and I took Kate to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time last week. She seemed to enjoy it, her favorite was the carousel.




On Saturday, Mike and I took Kate to the new splash park here in Pflugerville. Kate wanted nothing to do with this place the first time we went there and now after many trips, she loves it! Actually, I'm not sure who had more fun, her or Mike!




Kate is just talking up a storm!! It just amazes me that in less than 2 months she has learned so many words!! And has even started to see something, point at it, and call it by name. We have also been working with her on saying her ABC's and numbers. She makes me laugh that when she can't say something (like "thank you" or the letter W) she will make up her own word for it and then say that instead! And will use that same made-up word every time!! So funny!

Mike and I are going to attempt to put Kate in her Big Girl Bed tonight. Wish us luck with that!!!

28 weeks with Kate


28 almost 29 weeks with "baby B"


I am soo much bigger this time around!! I can hardly believe it! This baby is so different than Kate. Kate kicked alot and I felt her ALL the time. This baby is so Lazy!! I have to really pay attention if I have felt the baby once a day! BUT it seems that now that I am 30 weeks the baby does seem a little more active.
