Sweden

Mike will be leaving for Sweden on Thursday (for work)so I will be playing the role of a single Mom for a week! Pray for me that I make it!!

Waco Zoo

We took a trip to the Waco Zoo on Saturday & had a great time!! This zoo was super clean with lots of shade & places to sit (or should I say places for me to rest!!) We all had a great time seeing all the animals!

MNO-pedicure party!

The Mom's group that I LOVE had a really fun MNO this month. We had a pedicure party at this local spa in downtown Pflugerville. It was super fun to get pampered with some really great ladies! Thanks goes to Kelly for the great idea and planning the whole thing!! You rock Kelly!!

New words!

Kate said Duck yesterday and today she just said "Paw Paw!!" Too bad her Paw Paw is in Ireland, or we could call him so he could hear her!!

The River

Mike, Kate and I attended my family's annual river weekend this past weekend in New Braunfles. I was excited for Kate to have her first experience of floating the Comal river!! I was 5 the first time I made this trip with my family and floated the Comal, so I was glad she could start earlier in life than I did! She actually loved it! She didn't even seem to mind how cold the water was. I thought she would be happy staying in a tube floating with Mike or myself, but no that crazy kid wanted to be in the water!! We put her tube on and a lease and she was off!! It was a great weekend and great to see the Robertson side of the family! I can't believe that next year we will have TWO kids when we are there!! Yikes!!

25 weeks

Bounce house fun!

Mike, Kate and I went to a party Saturday night and Kate had a blast in the bounce house! I didn't think we would be able to get her out of it to leave!!

Our anniversary night

Kate, Mike and I went out to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary on Friday. Kate was in a great mood and we had fun at dinner.

Next, we headed out for ice cream. I'm beginning to think that Kate is a bad Abernethy. She refused to eat any ICE CREAM!! AND she still hasn't eaten any cake or cupcakes!! I think Mike and I are the only parents that are trying to force their kid to EAT ice cream!! We tired over and over, but she wouldn't let us fed her any ice cream. We tired to give her a spoon with ice cream on it, but that didn't even work! Mike ended up just putting some on her face--so she could at least LOOK like she was eating ice cream!
