Splash Park with Will

It took Will a while to warm up to the water, but once he did, he had a blast.  It wasn't the greatest weather day (cloudy and overcast) to be there, but he still had fun with Grant.

3 week catch up! May 2017

Kate and Mike went to another Daddy Daughter Dance, this time with the girl scouts and it was Roaring 20's theme.

 Mike and I were leaving the next moring for Cancun so Meme was here to watch the kids while we were gone.

Alex had a PTA performance while we were gone. Everyone said he did a great job singing.

Mike and I had a wonderful time in Cancun!!

Then Mike had the kids for the weekend while I went away for the weekend.

Alex learned how to ride his bike without training wheels, so he got a new bike!!  He loves it!

These boy are so funny!  Will does whatever Beckham does and I just thought they looked so cute sitting next to each other!

Kate and I had a date night. Her girl scout troop was helping a 4H group make shoes for kids in Africa and then we had dinner together.

Saturday we rode bikes to the park.

Gram and PawPaw took kiddos to see Disney on ice.

We had a couples game night on saturday night.  So much fun!

And yesterday was Mother's Day and I had a great day just hanging out with my family and then we had dinner at Kristin's with Mike's parents.

Will at 22 months

Our little big guy is now 22 months old!!!  Can't believe in 2 months he will be 2!!

He loves to run everywhere and LOVES to play outside.  Alex is learning to ride his bike without training wheels and every time Alex crashes, Will will crash his toy lawn motor!  So funny to watch.  He will mimic whatever big kid he is around.  Especially Alex and Beckham.

He still loves to make sounds more than words, so I thought I would try to list them all:

Easter 2017

Again this year we headed to Alice, TX America for Easter.  Kids were super excited!

Friday we headed to the Texas State Aquarium, had lunch and then took Will to the beach for about 5 minutes.  Then we went out to dinner and ice cream.

When we got back from Corpus, Alex couldn't wait to go fishing!!  He caught 4 catfish and loved every minute of it!!!  I hooked a really big catfish, so big that it brought the crane pole right in half!!  Then a while later, someone said-"is that a snake across the pond?"  But it wasn't a snake, it was my cork!!!  Brian headed out with his casting rod and the net to try to catch this big fish!!  AND he did!!!  It was about 5 lbs!!  Crazy big!  After fishing, we went out to dinner and had ice cream,  Such a great day!!

Saturday we started our day playing outside and then fishing of course!  We were so lucky with really beautiful weather!!

We caught so MANY catfish!!!  and a few more big ones!!

Then we took the kids to feed the chickens and ducks and collect eggs.

Then of course, we had to dye Easter eggs and fly kites.

Then Easter morning, I didn't feel well, so not many pictures of Easter morning.  But the kids loved doing Confetti eggs with the family!

Then we headed home and had an Easter Egg hunt after dinner.

Great Easter weekend!!!
