My mom had 3 dozen Cascarones for us!  We went thur them super fast!  The kiddos loved this so much!

Easter egg hunt

After getting back from the beach we had our Easter Egg Hunt in the house.  Both kids loved it!

On Easter Sunday, after the kiddos played in their Easter baskets, we headed out to get donuts and then to the beach!

Alex pretty much spent the whole time we were there in my lap!

 Alex was not a fan of the sand.  When he was walking around all he would say was "Sand shoes" "sand shoes" over and over again.  We even tried putting his socks on to keep sand off his feet and that still didn't work.  Kate loved playing in the sand and Meme kept trying to get her to go in the water.  It wasn't until Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian met us at the beach that she finally played in the water with Jes.  She loved every minute of it!  I carried Alex down to the water and the kept patting my back and saying "Come on Mama,"meaning for me to go into the water!  He did touch the water, but just wanted to stay in my arms!

Let's go Fly a Kite!!

Aunt Jes and Uncle Brian got the kiddos kites for Easter.  So the kids took a break from swimming to fly a kite for the first time!

Trip to Alice

Thursday was Gram's 60th birthday!  We celebrated by taking her out to Red Lobster.  We all sang her Happy Birthday and then Kate fed half of her key lime pie to Alex!!

On Friday morning, the kiddos and I headed to Alice for the weekend.  Here are the kiddos with their Easter glasses on:

Cookies and Cupcakes with Gram

Gram and the kiddos made cookies and cupcakes together!  They loved it!  Their favorite part was for sure licking the cupcake batter off of the mixer beaters!!
